This piston fits in a stock bore block. It is a flat top piston (0cc). It is compatible with our 5.555 length rods. These pistons are clearanced for the 40hp stock rod although we always recommend billet rods. These use the stock wrist pins, and JE ring part number JG-1001-3366. Wrist pins and rings arent included. Why dont we include these? Being in Canada shipping rings from the US, to Canada and then back to the US would double the cost of rings. This adds unnecessary cost to the client. These pistons even after counting the cost of the rings come in cheaper than the OEM Briggs crap 40hp part. As seen in the photos these pistons have not only been tested but also came out of testing with great success. They were designed to be very robust and this was proven with an engine that dropped a valve. The piston saved the engine from major short block damage. These pistons have been running on the water for a while but simply haven’t been available to the public yet. This not recommended for turbo applications. This is the perfect naturally aspirated piston. Price is per piston. Two are required. The photo of the dished pistons are pistons we made for reference but the ones that will be shipped are flat topped gas ported.
